Vicky Jewellery Works Private Limited, an entity legally established in accordance with the laws of India and headquartered at 202/D, Bipin Behari Ganguly Street, Kolkata -700012, (referred to as “the Company,” “We,” or “Us,” with corresponding meanings) is the operator of the website www.goldclub.co (“Website”), a mobile application known as “Goldclub” accessible through Google Play Store and Apple App Store (“App”), and the uniform resource locator and/or mobile application created exclusively for each Merchant (“Merchant Platform”) (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

We collect certain information, with prior consent, from the following parties: jewelry retailers (“Merchants”), their clientele (“Merchant’s Customers”), and any visitors to the Platform (collectively referred to as “Users” or “You”). The term “Users” encompasses any individual who visits, accesses, or employs our Services or Platform through any communication device. It also encompasses individuals who access or utilize any computer or technological resource for purposes such as hosting, publishing, downloading, uploading, sharing, transacting, displaying, or viewing, and includes other individuals who jointly participate in utilizing the Company’s computer or technological resources. Any capitalized term utilized herein but not explicitly defined in this Privacy Policy shall carry the meanings ascribed to them in our Terms and Conditions.

    • Generating marketing banners featuring your products and saving them in your device’s storage by accessing your device’s files

  • KYC-related information, in accordance with applicable laws

We also collect specific information when Users provide it via the Platform or Services, or automatically as Users navigate through the Platform. This may encompass usage details, IP address, device ID and type, browser type and language, the operating system used on the device, access times, and information gathered through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

Merchants registering as sellers on the Platform will also be required to furnish GST and KYC-related information in addition to the Personal Information mentioned earlier. In cases where the GST and KYC verification process does not align with the details provided by the Merchants, registration on the Platform will be denied.

Data collected by the Company through its Platform from Customers will only be shared with the specific Merchant for the sole purpose of the transaction being conducted. Conversely, all data provided by Merchants will not be shared with any other Merchant registered on the Platform or any unregistered Merchants.

If the Company has reasonable grounds to suspect that information provided by any User is misleading, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, the Company retains the right to decline the provision of Services to that User at its sole discretion.

UTILIZATION OF COLLECTED INFORMATION:

We gather Personal Information solely for the following purposes:

  • To create and maintain User accounts
  • To enable Users to access our Services and ensure efficient customer support, as well as to develop new features tailored to the preferences of each Customer and Merchant for a more personalized experience
  • To transmit surveys or marketing communications regarding new products, Services, or other potentially interesting information
  • To enhance marketing and promotional endeavors, analyze Platform usage, improve Platform content and Service offerings, and customize the Platform’s content, layout, and Services
  • To send transaction-related communications such as welcome letters, confirmation letters, and billing reminders
  • To provide necessary information related to the Platform and Services, as well as User accounts on the Platform from time to time
  • To maintain records and offer an efficient, secure, and personalized experience while using the Platform
  • To analyze overall trends and improve the Platform and Services
  • To verify identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activities
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and rules
  • To transfer data and associated rights to a third party as part of a reorganization or sale of any Company division or the entire Company itself

USERS’ RIGHTS:

As Users, the Company grants complete control over the submitted information. The rights associated with this are outlined below:

  • The right to access, update, or delete the information we have about the User, which can be done through the User’s account settings on the Platform.
  • The right of rectification, allowing Users to have their information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to object and restrict, enabling Users to object to and restrict the processing of their Personal Information, although this may affect the provision of Services to its fullest extent.
  • The right to data portability, granting Users the right to receive a copy of the information we hold about them in a structured, machine-readable, and commonly used format.
